A Little History

         Our company bases its values from our father Steve Peck, who in 1954 became the General Manager of Rehm Distributing in Cleveland, Ohio. Rehm Distributing was a specialized company only distributing to Vending and Ice Cream accounts throughout the city of Cleveland. Through his integrity, dedication, hard work and knowledge, he gained the respect and loyalty of both our customers and vendors. Through the years, as his family grew, he instilled these same values to his children.

         As the years went by and as his children and business grew, one by one he groomed each child to follow in his footsteps. Then in 1969, his eldest son Steve Jr. took the first step working in the warehouse and driving a truck. He showed all his children nothing is handed to them and they had to work hard to gain the respect of others.

         Throughout the next 10 years he led each of his 4 sons down the same path. By doing this the business that he was running grew by leaps and bounds. Rehm Distributing expanded its territory and each of it's product lines to serve their customers better.

          In 1985 after many years of work and hard effort, Peck Food Service was Incorporated. Steve Sr. finally had his dream of his family owning a company of their own . Since the business was growing more family members were brought in to help give the quality and service to our customers they expected and deserved.

Today

           Peck Food Service is constantly upgrading to serve you better and keep our customers competitive. We also are keeping the same family attitude that got us to where we are today. We realize most of our customer base are family businesses also and are just trying to make their dreams come true just like we were able to.
